Preventive Maintenance

Preventive Maintenance is maintenance that is regularly performed on IT hardware for PhIS project to lessen the likelihood of it failing. Preventative maintenance is performed while the equipment is still working, so that it does not break down unexpectedly. 

Preventive Maintenance is needed to be done at DC, DRC and facility. It contains activities to be performed at designated location and the required documentation to be filled up before, during and after the activity. 

The guideline is provided and recommended to be read and understood by the appointed Facility Coordinator or officer in-charge of IT hardware or asset at the facility to manage facility asset, and it should be read together with PhIS and CPS Helpdesk & Maintenance document. 

The hardware to be maintained at each facility depends on the approved allocation endorsed by PhIS & CPS project committee. The type of hardware at DC, DRC and facility depends on the approved allocation.
